A Quick Note and Welcome Back

Phew. I’ve had this website up and running for a while now, but it’s taken me until today to decide to step back into the realm of blogging. So much has changed in the almost seven years (!?!?!?) since my last post. A global pandemic, personal upheaval, and a 550-mile hike across Spain that led me to sell or pack up what was left of my belongings and settle in the UK. There’s obviously a lot more we could get into there, but you get the gist – life has been all over the place.

And yet, the one consistent thing through it all has been movement. Embracing the fluctuations of routine and relationships is almost never easy and sticking to an exercise routine doesn’t always make it into the priority list, but movement, in one shape or another, has kept me grounded – rooted, if you’ll accept the pun – in who I am and what matters most.

If you’re here reading this, thank you. My business has been through almost as much as I have personally in these past few years, but she’s still here and we’re now in a place of expansion and connection once again. I have deepened my work and I find myself wholeheartedly invested in supporting the mothers of the world. Those who pour so much into others, only to find themselves with an empty cup.

So what does that mean? I’m offering in-person Personal Training near my home in South Wales. If you’re local to the area and want one-on-one or small-group training that focuses on supporting mothers through pregnancy, core changes, and regaining strength and balance in the body postpartum, let’s grab a coffee and chat.

If you’re in the States (or anywhere really), I am still offering online training. These programs are personalized to meet you exactly where you are and with the equipment you have access to. I have a few offerings available based on budget and time constraints, so send me an email or a message on instagram (@root.and.restore.training) and we can hop on a call for a long-distance coffee chat of our own.

Whatever your goals or needs, I hope this page can be a place that offers support and knowledge to empower you on your own wellness journey. May we each be rooted in ourselves, thereby giving us the strength to support our loved ones and communities.
